Fantastic! Overall just a great experience. The wait staff were all personable and very helpful. It's a cute cozy place that we were able to have a conversation in. We started with drinks which were absolutely incredible. I had the Lowkey Smokey and the taste was complex while everything worked incredibly well to create a delicious cocktail. I could seem myself coming here just for the cocktails. We ordered a few plates to try including the Pork Belly, Bananas Bravas, short-rib egg rolls, burrata, and a Picanha skewer. Not only was everything delicious, but it was brought out at the perfect eating temperature and we were able to dive right in. Never before have I experience magic such as this. The chefs really know how to flavor their dishes and despite being familiar with many of the flavors, they really brought a lot together to create something that I found quite unique, especially to this area. We cleaned the bananas bravas plate clean with our side order of yuca. I recommend them to all of our friends and can see ourselves coming out to many a date night here. Well done!
This place is a hidden gem! I can’t stop thinking about how amazing everything was. The food was delicious and the drinks even better. The Choripan was so good I didn’t even have a chance to take a picture of it. Drinks tough to compare because one was better than the other. & to end it off with a sweet treat the grilled pineapple was perfect. Lui and the bar staff were knowledgeable and our server Joao was very friendly. An easy 10/10 !!
First timer! Went for our anniversary and everything was perfect. Tried new foods like PAO DE QUEINO and feijoada risotto and we were very satisfied. The drinks were excellent. Our waitress Lillian was so kind and attentive. They even brought us complimentary glasses of champagne to help us celebrate. We will definitely be back.
So many amazing things to say about this lovely gem. I’ll start with the owner Lui who I was a huge fan of before dining at his restaurant. My wife and I came from Rhode Island to celebrate our 13th year marriage anniversary and Lui absolutely made our night by taking some time to meet us and chat for a bit and even toasting with us. Not only is he the owner he is also behind the bar crafting, creating and the mastermind of some of the best cocktails I have ever had. I had four of them one being The Dictador which comes to you in a box full of smokey goodness. The cocktail prices were absolutely amazing at a time where so many restaurants charge you a lot more and don’t even come close to Ember & Alma. We had tapas and every plate we had was just as great as the drinks. It’s safe to say that we will for sure take the hour drive without hesitation to come back and have some great food and drinks.
Just went here for the first time and it definitely will not be our last. Our bartender Marcelo and the whole group there was absolutely fantastic. We had some house cocktails that were phenomenal. I highly recommend the Rye Or Die Homie! We had some incredible appetizers and tried the picanha skewer and pepper skewer. Both were cooked to perfection. This place has a totally cool laid back vibe inside. This place is our new favorite place and we can't wait to go back. What a great experience.
We’re a Brazilian-American family and we have been to many Brazilian restaurants BUT this one is by far the best!!!! The food is an amazing delicious fusion and the drinks are incredible and flavorful! The waiter helped us when we had questions and the owner was also very kind.
Great food, atmosphere, and staff. Been coming here for years, a review is well due by now. Enjoy the drinks and the food. Shout out to Marcelo at the bar! Amazon burger and picanha sandwich are some of my favorites. I also enjoy the steak dishes and risottos.
We came in Saturday for a few drinks. Amazing cocktail list. Our bartender Marcelo was great! Excellent service and amazing cocktails! We will definitely be back for more delicious cocktails and can't wait to try the food! Great spot.
